The Open Government Partnership (OGP) is an initiative of 70 countries. It aims to secure concrete commitments from governments to promote transparency, empower citizens, fight corruption, and harness new technologies to strengthen governance. It is run by a steering committee composed of governments and civil society organisations.
I was involved in the establishment of OGP in Ireland and contribute when I can to the open consultations.
