“We are passionate about people working together for a world where we all share responsibility for the future wellbeing of our planet and ourselves. We aim to provide access to good local food for all” taken from Incredible Edible Todmorden website
Lots of activity at this time of year in a tourist destination. All the hustle and bustle of making the place look pretty as it comes alive with tour buses and wandering photographers. At last the coffee shops are open again! Personally, I’m busy with Tidy Towns application forms and funding proposals.
The Burren Slow Food festival was on recently and we hosted a community garden design workshop to coincide. It was lovely to meet others interested in local food, shared community space and our sustainable community plans. We had a visit from Darina Allen which I enjoyed completely. I really loved that she imparted the wonders of Incredible Edible Todmorden and encouraged the group to plant food all over the town.
Here’s the latest version of our Sustainable Community Plan.

Hi Theresa. Glad to see you are so much engaged with the local community. I plan to be in Ennis and Kilrush 31st May. Would be nice to meet up for a coffee if you have the time!
